Light Series
Realized while living in Florence, Italy; Light Series is a collection of monotypes on canvas. Each piece works to explore modern light within biomes where historical European painters worked and lived. The work is an observation of space, light, and time. All 12 works, when assembled correctly, create a singular cohesive piece displaying these many spaces as one. The singular image may never be realized again as the set of 12 has been intentionally broken up and sold individually.
